Connect your tools
One Chrome browser. Your choice of automation tool.
Cloudbrowser will expose standard browser-level CDP over authenticated WSS. Tools reuse the running Chrome and its default profile rather than launching an unrelated browser.
Playwright CLI
playwright-cli -s=research attach --cdp="$CDP_URL"
playwright-cli -s=research tab-list
playwright-cli -s=research snapshot
playwright-cli -s=research detachagent-browser
agent-browser --session research --cdp="$CDP_URL" snapshot -i
agent-browser --session research click @e3Element references are specific to the tool and observed page. Refresh the snapshot after navigation. These examples describe protocol compatibility; Cloudbrowser end-to-end integrations are not yet verified.
Puppeteer
const browser = await puppeteer.connect({
browserWSEndpoint: process.env.CDP_URL,
});
const [page] = await browser.pages();
console.log(await page.title());
browser.disconnect(); // leave the remote Chrome runningLive View
A separate viewer grant defaults to view-only. The CLI returns a reusable share URL, read-only and non-expiring by default, and can exit. Each visit exchanges a fresh one-time ticket for a session. The viewer handles refresh until link expiration or revocation. Read-only blocks all remote input; explicit control permission allows browser operation and is enforced by the gateway.
Renewal and reconnect
Third-party CDP clients do not renew Cloudbrowser grants. Keep the authenticated CLI connection manager running or renew through REST. A lease renewal keeps the opaque CDP token stable. Pause/resume invalidates the old runtime grant and requires a new URL and attach.
